TeamGroup has announced the release of two SSDs: an external T-Create Classic with Thunderbolt 3 interface and an internal T-Force Cardea Z44L with PCIe 4.0 x4 interface.
The key advantage of the T-Create Classic with Thunderbolt 3 is its high data transfer rate. When connected to a Thunderbolt 3 port, you can count on speeds up to 2700MB / s. The drive is compatible with USB ports. When connected to a USB3.2 Gen2 port, the speed reaches 900MB / s. The compact aluminum case, which also acts as a heat sink, houses a PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD. The drive is available in 1, 2, and 4 TB sizes. The price is $ 250, $ 450 and $ 900 respectively.
The T-Force Cardea Z44L model is even faster: its read speed reaches 3500 MB / s, the write speed is 3000 MB / s. A feature of this drive is the presence of an ultra-thin graphene heatsink developed and patented by TeamGroup. The drive is available in 500 GB and 1 TB sizes. The price is $ 75 and $ 167, respectively.
