HarmonyOS 2.0 was installed on more than 100 million smartphones

Huawei announced a new achievement for its proprietary operating system HarmonyOS 2.0, replacing Android on Huawei and Honor smartphones and tablets. At the launch event for the new MateBook 13s and 14s, Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong revealed that HarmonyOS 2.0 has already surpassed 100 million users.

After the official launch on June 2, 2021, the number of HarmonyOS 2.0 installations surpassed 10 million very quickly, and that was just the beginning. In 15 days, HarmonyOS 2.0 surpassed the milestone of 18 million users. In the month since launch, 25 million installations have been produced. After that, the pace did not slow down, and by September 2, the number of users exceeded 90 million. As we can see, it took the company a little more than ten days to overcome the milestone of 100 million.

Huawei will soon begin distributing HarmonyOS 2.0 for popular models such as the Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei P10 series.
