Honor Tab V7: 7250 mAh, 2K screen, 90 Hz

Honor on last Sunday introduced a ton of new products: MagicBook V14 2021 and MagicBook 16 Pro laptops, inexpensive Smart Screen X2 TVs, and the Honor Tab V7 tablet. This news is about the tablet.

Unlike the older Honor Tab V7 Pro, based on the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T SoC, the Honor Tab V7 is based on the less powerful MediaTek 900T. But the cooling subsystem is quite serious - its area is 26,000 mm 2.

Honor Tab V7 received an IPS screen with a diagonal of 10.4 inches with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels with a frame rate of 90 Hz and support for HDR10 technology. The screen bezel is relatively small - 7.9 mm. It houses the front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels. The main camera uses a single 13MP sensor.

The battery capacity is 7250 mAh, 22.5 W charging is supported. The tablet received the Magic UI 5.0 interface and support for the proprietary Honor Magic Pencil 2. The device is 7.85 mm thick and weighs 480 grams.

The base version of the Honor Tab V7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash is priced at $ 295 (that's for early adopters, with a suggested retail price of $ 310). The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs $ 355. These versions are equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only. The Honor Tab V7 also has a version with a 5G modem. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage and is priced at $ 400.
