HP Specter x360 16 Laptop to be offered with OLED display

A new model of the Specter x360 laptop has appeared in the catalog of the HP company, the release of which was announced last week. It is called the HP Specter x360 16 and is still marked "coming soon". Nevertheless, its main characteristics are known.

The most interesting piece of equipment is the 16-inch OLED display. The manufacturer's website says that its resolution is UHD +, and the aspect ratio is 16: 10. As you know, the resolution of UHD 4K or 3840 x 2160 pixels corresponds to the aspect ratio of the screen 16: 9. This means that the screen resolution of the HP Specter x360 16 is slightly larger than UHD 4K and is 3840 x 2400 pixels. This resolution is also called WQUXGA. The screen occupies 91% of the lid area. It is VESA DisplayHDR True Black certified and will be color-calibrated by the manufacturer. Along with the OLED configuration, a more affordable LCD option will be offered.

The laptop is powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor. The mobile system will include an Nvidia RTX3050 graphics card, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity, as well as a 5MP HP GlamCam webcam and a B&O speaker system with four speakers.

The Specter x360 16 OLED should be available in October starting at $ 1,639. It will be offered in two colors - black and dark blue.
