Huawei MateStation S desktop with AMD Ryzen 7 4700G goes on sale in China

Huawei, which is gradually withdrawing from the smartphone market due to US sanctions, has released a new desktop computer called the Huawei MateStation S in China.

Huawei MateStation S has a small body with dimensions of 293 x 93 x 315.5 mm. It is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 4600G or AMD Ryzen 7 4700G processor, supports up to two dual-channel DDR4 memory modules, and has a 512GB solid-state drive.

It supports collaboration with smartphones. Thanks to this feature, it can be used for linking two screens, transferring files, and editing between devices. There is a power button on the front of the case, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-A 3.0 port, and a USB-C port. There are two USB-A 2.0 ports and two USB-A 3.0 ports on the back, plus VGA and RJ45 among others.

The computer runs the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. Since it is not intended for professionals, it is most likely preinstalled with Windows 10 Home Edition.

The AMD Ryzen 5 4600G version with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD costs about $ 600. The older version with AMD Ryzen 7 4700G, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB solid state drive costs $ 790.
