Huawei today unveiled in China new representatives of the popular Nova series - Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro. The base model of Huawei Nova 9 is equipped with a 6.57-inch OLED screen with rounded edges and a resolution of Full HD + (2340 x 1080 pixels), an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, and embedded 32-megapixel front camera, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
Quadruple main camera combines a 50MP RYYB main sensor (f / 1.9 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module (f / 2.2 aperture), a 2MP macro module (f / 2.4 aperture) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor MP (f / 2.4 aperture). The hardware base is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The 4300mAh battery supports 66W fast charging. The dimensions are 160 x 73.7 x 7.77 mm, and the smartphone weighs 175 grams.
Huawei Nova 9 Pro features a 6.72-inch screen diagonal, a resolution of 2676 x 1236 pixels, a dual front camera (both sensors are 32 megapixels), a 4000 mAh battery, and 100W charging support. Promised to charge from 0 to 100% in 20 minutes. The dimensions are 163.4 x 74.4 x 7.97 mm, and the smartphone weighs 186 grams.
Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro with black, purple, blue, and green cases are available for pre-order in the following versions:

Open sales of Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro will begin on September 29. Both new smartphones run Huawei's proprietary operating system - HarmonyOS 2.0.1. And both smartphones did not receive support for 5G cellular networks - only 4G LTE.
Huawei today announced that HarmonyOS 2.0 has been installed on over 120 million devices . A proprietary replacement for Android was unveiled by Huawei on June 2, and it's been 91 days since its launch.
