The growth rate of the user base of the operating system HarmonyOS 2.0 is impressive: in three months it has already been installed by more than 90 million people, while the speed of distribution is only increasing. This week, the operating system came to the Huawei P20 line of smartphones released more than three years ago.
The beta version of HarmonyOS 2.0.0.188 (C00E185R1P5) is available for the following models:
- Huawei P20 (EML-AL00);
- Huawei P20 (EML-TL00);
- Huawei P20 Pro (CLT-AL00, CLT-AL01, CLT-AL00l);
- Huawei P20 Pro (CLT-TL00, CLT-TL01);
- Huawei P20.
Initially, the beta version is limited in terms of the number of participants, but testing will be open in mid-September. Users of older smartphones confirm that after installing HarmonyOS 2.0, there is an immediate increase in productivity and usability. Phone app opening speed, system smoothness, gaming performance and battery life are much better.
As for now, this update is already available on almost 100 Huawei and Honor models, with half of them being older models that came out in the past few years.
