Huawei presented in Russia a lightweight version of the MateView GT

The original MateView GT ( review ) was the first Huawei monitor designed specifically for gamers. It debuted in China in May and appeared on the Russian market in August at a suggested retail price of 45,999 rubles. Now, this model has a discount of 4 thousand rubles.

Now a cheaper variation is presented to the public - the MateView GT Standard Edition. This version is still available for pre-order at a price of 33,999 rubles, and the recommended retail price is 36,999 rubles. Open sales will begin on October 15th.

The reduction in price did not lead to a deterioration in the image quality - the characteristics of the screen remained the same. The model has lost the built-in soundbar, which is far from an obligatory characteristic for a gaming monitor. Due to this, not only the price has decreased, but also the weight of the device has become less.

As before, the monitor can boast features such as a curved 34-inch display screen with an aspect ratio of 21: 9, the radius 1500R curvature resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of images of 165 Hz, the luminance of 350 cd / m 2, the contrast and 4000: 1 and HDR 10 support.

The monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, one USB Type-C port for charging mobile devices, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Supports 110 mm height and tilt adjustment from –5 ° to + 20 °.
