Huawei introduced the flagship P50 and P50 Pro smartphones at the very end of July, sales of the older model began in China in August, and the P50 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G platform should go on sale in China in September. In other countries, the P50 and P50 Pro will not appear soon, but now at least the date of the announcement of the global models has become known.
The event will take place in Vienna on October 21 - the official teaser of the announcement has already been published. It is expected that on this day, along with the international versions of Huawei P50 and P50 Pro, global representatives of the Nova 9 line will be released. A series of these budget flagships will debut in China on September 23, but the global premiere will take place a month later.
While the specs of the P50 and P50 Pro are already well known, there are not many technical details about the Nova 9 yet. The Nova 9 Pro will have a 4000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, and the Nova 9 will have a 4500mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. There will also be HarmonyOS 2.1 and no 5G support.
