In Europe, an inexpensive smartphone TCL 20 R 5G with support for fifth generation networks is released


TCL has unveiled the TCL 20 R 5G smartphone for the European market. This is the cheapest TCL 20 device at the moment.

TCL 20 R received a 6.52-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels with a refresh rate of the image of 90 Hz and a polling rate of the sensor layer of 180 Hz. The peak brightness is 500 cd / m 2 .

The smartphone received a single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 700 system, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable flash memory, as well as a triple main camera with image sensors with a resolution of 13, 2 and 2 megapixels. The fingerprint scanner is located on the rear panel, the phone received a 4500 mAh battery with support for 10-watt charging.

TCL is promising three years of quarterly security updates for the TCL 20 R and one major OS update to Android 12 as the phone will be running Android 11 at launch.

The TCL 20 R will go on sale later this month in select European markets. It will cost € 179 in the Netherlands when it appears in October.
