Intel Xeon E-2300 processors introduced

Last week, Intel introduced the Xeon E-2300 line of server processors. It includes ten models with four to eight cores and TDPs from 65W to 95W. Intel estimates that a 23% increase in clock speed to 5.1 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology and a 23% increase in memory speed resulted in up to 17% performance gain over the previous generation Intel Xeon E. The new Intel C250 chipset processors provide greater bandwidth and I / O through support for PCIe 4.0, more PCIe 3.0 lanes, USB 3.2 2x2 (20Gb / s) and SATA 3.0 interfaces. The specified platform has been tested for compatibility with the latest server operating systems, including Windows Server 2022. The processors are manufactured using 14-nanometer technology.
