iPad 9 and iPad Mini 6 go on sale

Apple today announced the availability of the 9th generation iPad and the new iPad Mini. Due to the time difference, the tablets can already be bought in China, and in Russia, they will become available today within a few hours. Both models include new features, including improved platforms, cameras, and the new iPadOS 15 skin.

The new iPad features a 10.2-inch Retina display with the same bezels as its predecessor. Since the bezels are not trimmed down, the bottom bezel retains the Home button with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. A new True Tone feature has been added that automatically adjusts the color temperature based on ambient lighting.

The tablet is built around the Apple A13 SoC, which delivers noticeable increases in CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine performance over its predecessor. The base model now has double the storage, so you get 64GB instead of 32GB.

The front-facing camera features a new 12-megapixel sensor with a Center Stage function, which digitally pans the camera during video calls. The main camera received an image sensor with a resolution of 8 megapixels.

The 9th generation iPad is compatible with the 1st generation Apple Pencil as well as the Apple Smart Keyboard. It will run iPadOS 15 out of the box. The new iPad is offered in Russia at a price of 30,990 rubles.

The new iPad Mini, starting at Rs. 47,990, has a fresh design, thinner bezels, and a larger display, as well as new features like USB-C and 5G support. The new iPad Mini has an 8.3-inch screen (its predecessor had a 7.9-inch screen). This is a Retina LCD, not a Mini LED as rumors have pointed out. As the bezels are thinner, the Touch ID scanner has moved under the power button.

The front camera is 12 megapixels with an ultra-wide-angle lens and Center Stage function. At the back is a 12-megapixel sensor and an F / 1.8 aperture lens, and a 4K video recording is possible. Apple claims that processor performance has improved by 40% and GPU performance has increased by 80%.

The iPad Mini supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6. It also has a USB-C port at the bottom. The tablet supports the second-generation Apple Pencil, which can be magnetically attached to the side. It also has stereo speakers.

The first reviews of the iPad mini have already appeared on the web, in which it is called an almost perfect device.
