New iPad mini gets more storage than iPad 9

The new iPad mini has been confirmed to have 4GB of RAM, while the previous generation iPad mini had 3GB of storage. At the same time, the amount of RAM iPad of the ninth generation has not changed and is 3 GB.

For comparison, the iPad Air has 4GB of RAM, while the flagship iPad Pro has a maximum of 16GB of RAM. The main improvement for the sixth generation iPad mini is the look. iPad mini gets thinner bezels and a larger display, as well as new features like USB-C and 5G support. The new iPad Mini has an 8.3-inch screen (the predecessor has a 7.9-inch screen). This is a Retina LCD, not a Mini LED as rumors have pointed out. As the bezels are thinner, the Touch ID scanner has moved under the power button.

The front camera is 12 megapixel with an ultra wide angle lens and Center Stage function. At the back is a 12-megapixel sensor and an F / 1.8 aperture lens, and 4K video recording is possible. Apple claims that processor performance has improved by 40% and GPU performance has increased by 80%.

The iPad Mini supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6. It also has a USB-C port at the bottom. The tablet supports the second generation Apple Pencil, which can be magnetically attached to the side. It also has stereo speakers.
