New Magsafe Charger Supports Eight iPhone Models

A new Magsafe magnetic charger with model number A2548 is now available in the FCC database. At the same time, the original Magsafe charger for iPhone 12 has model number A2140.

The new magnetic charger is rumored to have increased power as well as stronger magnets. There is no information on this in the FCC database, but the source writes that the FCC has tested its compatibility with eight iPhone models.

The list includes smartphones with model numbers A2341, A2172, A2176 and A2342, which correspond to the iPhone 12 lineup. Interestingly, they are already listed as obsolete. The other four models are the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, the 6.1-inch iPhone 13, the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.

IPhone 13 smartphones will get a reduced bang, Apple A15 Bionic single-chip system, up to 1 TB of flash memory, larger batteries in all four models of the line, improved cameras, reinforced MagSafe magnets, microphones with beamforming technology and other improvements.

The presentation of smartphones, according to the latest data, is expected on September 14. Along with the iPhone 13 will be AirPods 3 headphones and Apple Watch Series 7 smart watches.
