The FCC has released real photos of Xiaomi's new tiny TV box called the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick. Externally, there are no differences from the previous generation Xiaomi Mi TV Stick. The device is made in the form factor of a flash drive, which is inserted into the HDMI connector of a TV or projector, immediately endowing the device with smart functions.
Therefore, it is expected that the main stick changes are hidden inside. Recall that the original device received the Amlogic S805Y platform with Mali 450 graphics, only 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of flash memory. Mi TV Stick supports Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube, Twitch, and other services out of the box. The device displays a picture with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The new Xiaomi TV Stick is expected to receive a different platform, more memory, and support for 4K resolution.
