Nikkor Z 40mm f / 2 full frame lens introduced

Last week, Nikon unveiled the Nikkor Z 40mm f / 2 lens for mirrorless cameras, which it announced in early June. This is a compact and lightweight full-frame lens, which the manufacturer attributes to a beautiful out-of-focus blur. According to Nikon, the 40mm focal length makes the lens versatile enough for everyday use, portraiture, and other genres. The lens is equipped with a control ring that can be programmed to control focus, ISO, aperture, or exposure compensation. The description also mentions the silent autofocus step drive and protection from dust and water droplets.
