The first forecasts promised the release of Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 (Ada Lovelace) video cards only at the end of 2022, but recently there was a rumor that the new items would debut earlier in the summer or even in the spring of next year. And now the denial of this rumor: before October next year, the GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 (traditionally top models come out first) should not be expected.
In general, the glimmer of hope for an earlier appearance of the GeForce RTX 40 quickly faded, but this was to be expected: while the supply of the GeForce RTX 30 leaves much to be desired, Nvidia will extend the life of the video card of this line - including through updated models. GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti are already out, next in line are Super line graphics cards, and they are promised for both mobile and desktop segments. The release of the GeForce RTX 30 Super is expected at the very beginning of 2022 at CES. And they can go on sale by the end of January.
