OLED screens for iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 now also supply Chinese BOE

It is reported that Apple has approved BOE as a supplier of screens for iPhone 13 smartphones. At the same time, smartphones with such display panels will be on sale in the very near future.

It is also reported that BOE has so far entrusted the supply of a small number of screens only for the standard version of the iPhone 13. Recall that this model received a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate.

Chinese manufacturer BOE is currently producing OLED panels for the iPhone 13 at the B11 factory in Sichuan. After the appearance of such smartphones on the market, it will be interesting to see if they differ from smartphones with screens manufactured by Samsung.

On Tuesday, Apple officially unveiled the iPhone 13 line of smartphones in California, and tomorrow, pre-orders for new items will start in many countries around the world. In Russia, accepting pre-orders will begin on September 22. Sales start on September 24th. In China, there are already 2 million pre-orders in the store alone 

Today it became known that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, retained 6 GB of RAM, while the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini got 4 GB of RAM .

The iPhone 13 and Apple A15 Bionic outpaced all the competition to top the GeekBench performance rankings .

BOE has also started supplying Apple screens for refurbished and new iPhone 12s.
