Last week, Together with the Realme 8s 5G smartphone, Realme introduced the Realme 8i model. The characteristics and prices of both of today's Realme new products are such that in the Indian market, where smartphones debuted, they become formidable competitors for the recently announced Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Prime.
Realme 8i is built on the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, while both Redmi are built on the slightly less powerful Helio G88. Also, the new Realme received an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.59 inches with a Full HD + resolution with a frame rate of 120 Hz, a front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels and a main camera with sensors with a resolution of 50, 2 and 2 megapixels.
The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, 18W charging is supported. There is a fingerprint scanner - it is located on the side. The technology of virtual expansion of RAM up to 10 GB is also supported. The basic version of the Realme 8i for $ 190 offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, in the top-end version for $ 220 - 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. Sales of new items in India will start at noon on September 14th.
