Realme 8s 5G - the world's first smartphone on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 platform

Last week, Realme in India unveiled the Realme 8s 5G smartphone. This model is notable for being the first in the world based on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 single-chip platform, which debuted in August . Judging by the specs and price, the Realme 8s 5G is a very attractive smartphone, which in India will take away part of the audience from the newest Redmi hits - Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Prime.

Realme 8s 5G received a 6.5-inch IPS screen, Full HD + resolution with a frame rate of 90 Hz. There is a built-in front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels, but there is no sub-screen fingerprint scanner - it is placed on the side edge.

The main camera of the model is represented by sensors with a resolution of 64, 2 and 2 megapixels. Also in the configuration of the device is a 5000 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging, a standard headphone jack, and a USB-C port. Realme 8s 5G supports memory expansion technology by creating a virtual drive - thus, the RAM can be "increased" by 5 GB.

Realme 8s 5G comes in two colors (blue and light blue) and two memory configurations: 6/128 GB for $ 245 and 8/128 GB for $ 270. But these are the standard suggested retail prices. And for the first buyers the prices are much more attractive only 170 and 190 dollars. In India, sales of new items started at noon on September 13.
