Realme today unveiled the GT 2 Neo smartphone in China. The novelty turned out to be interesting in terms of price-performance ratio.
Realme GT Neo 2 is equipped with a screen Samsung AMOLED penultimate generation E4 6.62 inches with a diagonal of a frame frequency of 120 Hz and a peak brightness 1300 cd / m 2 . It is protected by 5th generation hardened Gorilla Glass.
Realme GT Neo 2 is built on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with UFS 3.1 memory. A 5G modem is present. The smartphone is called one of the most stable in the world among those built on this single-chip system. This is because he received a completely new cooling system with an area of 17 932 mm 2 with a thermal interface, which includes diamond dust. Diamond particles with a diameter of 40-50 microns provide faster heat transfer from the SoC to the heat dissipation elements. Realme points out that the efficiency of the new "jewelry" thermal interface is 50-60% higher than that of the usual one.
The camera of the novelty is represented by three modules. The main resolution is 64 megapixels, the additional ones are 8 megapixels (with an ultra-wide-angle lens) and 2 megapixels (for macro shooting). The so-called professional shooting mode is provided, as well as night and street shooting modes. But nothing is said about optical stabilization.
The Realme GT Neo 2 is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging (the battery fully charges in 36 minutes). There are also such indispensable attributes of a modern smartphone as an NFC module and stereo speakers. The Realme GT Neo 2 is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 199.8 grams.
It should be noted that the rumors about the cost of the Relame GT Neo 2 turned out to be true. The basic version of the smartphone with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory in China is priced at $ 385. The other two options - with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage - are priced at $ 420 and $ 565, respectively. But all first-time buyers will be able to purchase the new product at a $ 15.5 discount. Where did the 19 GB of RAM come from, if in reality there are a maximum of 12? It's simple: the smartphone supports memory expansion technology - by creating a virtual space in the flash memory, it can be increased by another 7 GB.
