Redmi 10 Prime is out tomorrow

Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India, has posted on his Twitter page a new promotional video for the Redmi 10 Prime smartphone, which is due to be unveiled tomorrow, September 3rd.

The company previously released the Redmi 10 smartphone on the global market, equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 single-chip system and a 90-Hz screen. In this case, the capacity of the battery is 5000 mAh. And Redmi 10 Prime will be equipped with a 6000 mAh battery. This is the lightest Redmi smartphone with a battery of this capacity.

Redmi 10 Prime will be almost a complete copy of Redmi 10 for the Indian market with only two differences: the new smartphone will have an enlarged battery, but there will be no NFC module for contactless payments.

The phone will be equipped with a 6.5-inch FullHD + display with adaptive refresh rates (45, 60, and 90 Hz). In the central upper part of the display, there is a hole for the front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels. The main camera has the main image sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels, as well as additional modules with a resolution of 8, 2, and 2 megapixels. The phone runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top.

The phone will be available in different memory sizes starting at $ 160.
