Only a few hours ago we wrote that Redmi is preparing to release inexpensive smartphones Redmi 9 Activ and Redmi 9A Sport, and now the first one is already officially presented in India. In fact, the Redmi 9 Activ is a slightly improved version of the regular Redmi 9: the top version now has 6 GB of RAM, and not 4 GB, as before.
Redmi 9 Activ is built on a single-chip MediaTek Helio G35 platform, equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS screen, HD + resolution with a teardrop notch for the front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels. The main camera has 13 and 2-megapixel sensors, but the second is not directly involved in the shooting - it serves to determine the depth of the scene. A MicroSD slot is provided for expanding memory, there is also a standard headphone jack and an IR emitter. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, but there is no fast charging - the maximum power is only 10 watts. The weight of the smartphone is 194 grams.
Redmi 9 Activ runs Android 11 with MIUI 12. Sales in India will start tomorrow, the cost of the version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory is $ 130. The variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory is priced at $ 150. There are four colors for this model: black, green, blue, and orange.
