A few days ago, Xiaomi unveiled its new ultra-budget headphones, the Redmi Buds 3. And last Wednesday, the Chinese manufacturer began accepting orders for the Redmi Buds 3 through its proprietary co-financing platform.
The headphones can be ordered in China for $ 25. The launch was more than successful. Xiaomi has already announced that orders have exceeded 10 million yuan ($ 1,549,283). Thus, orders were placed for more than 62,893 headphone units.
The headphones look very similar to the famous Apple AirPods - these are the first headphones from the company in a similar design. Features include aptX support, Bluetooth 5.2, noise cancellation for calls, touch control, waterproof (IP54), Qualcomm QCC3040 SoC, 12mm emitters, 5 hours of battery life and an additional 20 hours with charging from the case.
