Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones are very important for the company: since they are mid-range models, the demand for them is higher than for flagships, especially in developing countries. So it comes as no surprise that Samsung is constantly improving the performance of these smartphones. We already wrote that all Galaxy A models from next year will receive optical image stabilization, and now the source shares details about the Galaxy A73 which is credited with a 108-megapixel camera.
The Galaxy A73 could be Samsung's first mid-range smartphone with such a high-resolution camera. Interestingly, the source attributes the Galaxy A73 to the same camera as the Galaxy S20 Ultra or Galaxy S21 Ultra. The latter, we recall, uses a rather large ISOCELL HM3 sensor with an optical format of 1 / 1.33 inches with pixels of 1.8 microns. If the Galaxy A73 gets such a sensor, it will definitely make it the best camera phone in the series and one of the best camera phones in the mid-budget segment.
