Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has lost monthly updates, and Galaxy Note FE has come to an end

Samsung Electronics has traditionally updated the page in the support section dedicated to the cycle of releasing updates for its smartphones. This time, significant changes have affected models such as the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Note FE.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9  debuted in June 2018. And now it will stop receiving monthly security updates. Users will have to settle for updates once a quarter. 

The Galaxy Note Fan Edition (Note FE) debuted a year earlier, in July 2017. It is a reincarnation of the Note 7  with a smaller battery. This model was released after the scandal with the fire of smartphones Galaxy Note 7 - the largest recall of smartphones in the history of Samsung. Since 2017, the smartphone has received two major Android updates - the latest being Android 9.0 Pie. However, he continued to receive security updates after that. Now, the Galaxy Note FE has been completely removed from the list of smartphones for which Samsung is releasing updates.
