Sennheiser CX Plus Headphones Introduced

Sennheiser has introduced the Sennheiser CX Plus, which is touted as the first fully wireless noise-canceling headphones in the CX series.

The headphones support SBC, AAC, AptX, and AptX Adaptive audio codecs. There is also support for touch control and adjusting the equalizer parameters. The earbuds also come with an intelligent pause feature that automatically pauses playback when you take out the earbuds.

The company adds that both the left and right earbuds can be used separately. They are equipped with active noise canceling technology. This is an improvement over some of the earlier models, which only had passive suppression.

There is an ambient sound mode that uses microphones to transmit sound from the outside world. The headphones use Sennheiser's TrueResponse sensor, which brings “audiophile technology” to conventional headphones. The earbuds are rated IPX4.

It claims a battery life of 24 hours when using the charging case. The Sennheiser CX Plus will be available for purchase starting September 28 for $ 180 in the US and £ 130 in the UK.
