Sharp Aquos Zero6 unveiled: Magnesium alloy body, IP68 protection, 240Hz and 48MP


Sharp has introduced a smartphone called Aquos Zero6 on the home market. The novelty is presented as the world's lightest phone with 5G support - its weight is only 146 grams. At the same time, it cannot be said that the smartphone turned out to be small: it is equipped with a 6.4-inch OLED screen, Full HD + resolution and a frame rate of 240 Hz. The display is protected by tempered Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The smartphone is built on a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G platform, so we are talking about a mid-range model. There is only one memory configuration: 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. Aquos Zero6 is made in a magnesium alloy body, endowed with stereo speakers, a 12-megapixel front camera and a main camera with 48, 8 and 8 megapixel sensors. The battery capacity is 4010 mAh (it takes about 130 minutes to fully charge). Provides good protection against dust and water - in accordance with the degree of IP68.

Sharp Aquos Zero6 runs Android 11. The dimensions of the model are 158 x 73 x 7.9 mm.

Together with Aquos Zero6, the model that is one step lower - Aquos Sense6 debuted. She received a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC platform, 4570 mAh battery, a camera with 48, 8 and 8 megapixel sensors, protection in accordance with the degree of IP68. Aquos Sense6 weighs 156 grams, case thickness - 7.9 mm.
