Specifications of the Vivo X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro + four days before the announcement

Base Vivo X70 uses Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC and MediaTek Dimensity 1200

Details of Vivo's flagship X70 series smartphones have appeared on the web, and now there is a complete picture of the single-chip systems that the creators have chosen for these models. The SoC set can be described as a complete variety: here are Samsung's Exynos 1080, MediaTek Dimensity 1200, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus.

Vivo X70 Pro + is built on the most powerful single-chip system. Along with Snapdragon 888 Plus, this model received a Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.78 inches with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels with a built-in fingerprint scanner and an embedded 32-megapixel camera, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 flash memory, a 4500 battery mAh with support for 55W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The main camera is represented by four modules. The main one is with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor and an F / 1.57 aperture lens. The second module contains a Sony IMX598 sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens and four-axis stabilization. The third module has a 12-megapixel sensor with a portrait lens, and the fourth module is a periscope camera with an 8-megapixel sensor and optical stabilization, providing 5x optical zoom. Dimensions and weight of Vivo X70 Pro + - 164.54 x 75.21 x 8.89 mm and 209 grams. The operating system is Android 11 with the Funtouch OS 11.1 interface (in all three models).

The Vivo X70 and X70 Pro have a lot in common. They received 6.56-inch AMOLED screens with a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels with a frame rate of 120 Hz, built-in finger scanners and embedded cameras with a resolution of 32 megapixels. RAM - 8 or 12 GB, UFS 3.1 flash memory - up to 256 GB. 44W wired charging is also supported.

And then - the differences. Vivo X70 Pro received a 4450 mAh battery, Samsung Exynos 1080 platform, the main camera is represented by sensors with a resolution of 50 Mp (Samsung GN1, with optical stabilization), 12 Mp (with an ultra wide-angle lens and macro mode), 12 Mp (with a portrait lens) and 8 Mp (as part of the periscope module). Dimensions and weight - 158.3 x 73.21 x 7.99 mm and 185 grams.

The base Vivo X70 is slightly lighter (181 grams) and has a 4400 mAh battery. The dimensions of this model are 160.1 x 75.39 x 7.55 mm. The smartphone is equipped with two platforms: Samsung Exynos 1080 and MediaTek Dimensity 1200. It is possible that this was done due to the general shortage of single-chip systems on the market. The main camera is represented by three modules: mainly - a Sony IMX776 sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels with optical stabilization, a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and another 12-megapixel one with a portrait lens.

The official premiere of the Vivo X70 family will take place on September 9th. The smartphones of the series will use Zeiss optics, as indicated by the logo on the camera units, as well as a proprietary V1 image processor.
