SteelSeries introduced two mouse models - Prime Mini and Prime Mini Wireless, positioning them as a weapon for esports players. According to the manufacturer, the shape of the mouse, its feel, and lightning-fast reaction time are critical for quick attacks, hand-to-hand combat, and victories. Prestige OM technology has found application in new mice. Under this name lies the magneto-optical switches previously tested in Prime mice, from which the new devices differ in size and weight. More specifically, the Prime Mini is 12% lighter and the Prime Mini Wireless is 9% more powerful than the base model.
The advantages of the Prestige OM switches are five times longer than the competition and lightning-fast response time. Unlike mechanical switches, magneto-optical switches do not wear out during operation, that is, their characteristics remain unchanged.
The Prime Mini mouse weighs 61 g. It uses the TrueMove Pro sensor. The Prime Mini Wireless mouse weighs 73g, but it is equipped with a wireless interface. This mouse can last over 100 hours without recharging. It uses a TrueMove Air sensor. The Prime Mini is $ 60, the Prime Mini Wireless is $ 130.
