Following the first computer generated images of the iPhone 14, Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch with 25 years of industry experience, has released estimated specs for all models in the line.
According to the table, the iPhone 14 series will include the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will have 6.06-inch screens, while the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will use 6.68-inch displays. The mini version will be canceled.
The base models of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max should get 60 Hz LTPS screens, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have LTPO screens that support adaptive refresh rates from 1 Hz to 120 Hz.
All smartphones will be equipped with the Apple A16 single-chip system. The base model will get a dual main camera, while the other three models will get a triple camera. It is expected that the new smartphones will receive the Face ID system and the Touch ID fingerprint scanner under the screen, however, the older models will have Face ID sensors under the screen, and the front camera will be embedded, while the younger models will retain the bangs. The same forecast is made by Chinese sources.
