The average selling price of the iPhone 13 will increase compared to the price of the iPhone 12

Renowned Tianfeng Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who gave details on the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 smartphones, said the iPhone 13's average selling price would increase from the iPhone 12's average selling price.

According to him, the average selling price of the iPhone 13 will rise due to the increase in the average flash storage capacity available in smartphones. iPhone 13 Pro The iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB versions, as well as 1TB, flash storage. At the same time, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will be offered with 128, 256, and 512 GB of flash memory. It was previously assumed that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max smartphones would not be available with 256GB of non-volatile memory.

In addition, Ming-Chi Kuo notes that an extreme shortage of components supplied by Texas Instruments could be a problem for Apple. Because of this, shipments of the iPhone 13 in the fourth quarter of 2021 may be reduced due to a lack of materials. Other analysts believe iPhone 13 shipments in 2021 could grow by 10% compared to iPhone 12 shipments last year.

The analyst also notes that the start of mass production of the Apple Watch 7 will be slightly delayed, but this will have little effect on the release dates and timing of mass deliveries. As for AirPods, the total shipments of this series of headphones will increase by 10-15%. At the same time, AirPods 2 will remain on sale after the release of AirPods 3.

The iPhone 13 will be officially unveiled tomorrow, September 14th.
