The handheld Steam Deck is already rolling out to developers. As stated on Valve's website, a limited batch of developer kits went to the company's partners for technical testing. The device is still in a late stage of development, so feedback from game creators will allow Valve to improve the device before it goes to market.
Unlike large home consoles, the Steam Deck dev kits include a serial design, which makes sense considering it's still a portable device. Given the start of such deliveries, it is likely that more new data and console tests will appear on the Web in the near future.
