The first Realme tablet is presented


Last week, the Chinese company Realme presented not only the new Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i smartphones, but also its first Realme Pad tablet.

The Realme Pad is an affordable model with an affordable price tag. Sales will begin in India on September 16th. The following options are offered:

  • Realme Pad with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of flash, Wi-Fi only - $ 190;
  • Realme Pad with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of flash storage, Wi-Fi and LTE - $ 218;
  • Realme Pad with 4GB RAM and 64GB Flash, Wi-Fi and LTE - $ 245.

The manufacturer specifically notes the slimness of the tablet. Its thickness is 6.9 mm, the body is made of aluminum. The tablet weighs 440 grams. 

The device is equipped with a 10.4-inch LCD screen with WUXGA + resolution (2000 x 1200 pixels), 60 Hz refresh rate, 8 megapixel cameras, 7100 mAh battery with 18 W charging support.

The hardware basis is the MediaTek Helio G80 single-chip system. Supports two SIM cards, Wi-Fi (802.11ac, 2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack and USB Type-C. NFC support is not provided, as well as a fingerprint scanner. The tablet is preinstalled with the Android 11 operating system with the Realme UI for Pad proprietary shell adapted for tablets.
