There will be more notebooks with 90Hz OLED panels on the market soon. Samsung Display has announced that it has begun mass production of such panels. In a press release, it is said that such solutions are superior in a number of parameters to 120-hertz LCD panels.
Apparently, the first new panels from Samsung will receive Asus laptops from the ZenBook and Vivobook Pro lines. In this case, we are talking about 14-inch screens.
Samsung's tests show that its new panels feature shorter ribbon cables than 120Hz LCD panels. More specifically, we are talking about a 0.9mm flex cable, which is 10% less than the panels that Samsung is comparing to. Accordingly, the smaller the trail of the image, the clearer the dynamic picture appears.
