VESA has introduced a new level of DisplayHDR True Black standard

Recall that the DisplayHDR True Black standard, adopted in January 2019 , is a variation of the previously adopted DisplayHDR monitor testing specification. It takes into account the characteristics of emitting displays, such as OLED and future micro-LED displays, and allows you to correctly assess their inherent black levels, greater dynamic range and shorter rise times.

DisplayHDR True Black 600 takes a new level of performance with higher brightness compared to DisplayHDR True Black 400 and 500.

Asus Vivobook Pro 14, Vivobook Pro 14X and Vivobook 15 are the first to be certified to the new level. They use OLED displays.
