Vivo X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro + flagships presented

Last week, the Vivo brand officially unveiled the Vivo X70 line of flagship smartphones. It has three models - Vivo X70, Vivo X70, and Vivo X70 Pro +. New products have something to offer users, especially cameras.

The Vivo X70 is the first smartphone of the brand with its own Vivo V1 image processor. It features Intelligent Noise Canceling and MEMC technology specially tailored for smoother pictures when capturing video. At the same time, lower power consumption is guaranteed in comparison with the DSP of a single-chip platform. V1 improves night photo and video shooting, but it is installed only in the top models - X70 Pro and X70 Pro +.

The Zeiss logo is present in the main cameras of smartphones for a reason: the new items are equipped with high-quality optics from the German company. These are Zeiss Contax Biotar 1.5 / 75 mm, Zeiss Contax Distagon T 2.0 / 28 mm, Zeiss Planar 2.8 / 80 mm and Zeiss Olympia Sonnar T 2.8 / 180 mm.

The base X70's camera uses 40MP wide-angle, 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait, and 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensors.

The X70 Pro already has four modules: 50 MP (Sony IMX766V, wide-angle lens, and axial stabilizer), 12 MP (Sony IMS663, OIS, portrait lens, 2x optical zoom), 12 MP (120 ° ultra-wide-angle lens), 8 MP (periscope module, 5x optical zoom, optical stabilization).

The top model X70 Pro + also has four modules: 50 MP (Samsung S5KGN1, wide-angle lens, optical stabilization), 48 MP (Sony IMX598, ultra-wide-angle lens), 12 MP (Sony IMX663, portrait lens, 2x optical zoom, optical stabilization) and 8 MP (OmniVision OV08A10M periscope module, 5x optical zoom, optical stabilization).

The Vivo X70 Pro + has the best display in the industry - the latest generation Samsung AMOLED E5 (most current flagships, including the Galaxy S21 Ultra, use the E3 panel). The screen is manufactured using LTPO technology, it is more energy-efficient than LTPS panels, and also allows you to adjust the frame rate from 1 to 120 Hz in 1 Hz steps. The matrix is characterized by a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels.

The screens of the Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro are simpler, although they also use AMOLED panels. The diagonal is 6.56 inches, the resolution is Full HD +, and the frame rate is 120 Hz. The embedded front cameras in all three models have a resolution of 32 megapixels.

Vivo X70 Pro + is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. The Vivo X70 Pro is based on the Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC, while the Vivo X70 is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Of course, the Snapdragon 888 Plus is the most powerful of the trio, but the performance of the Samsung and MediaTek platforms is about the same.

Vivo X70 received a 4400 mAh battery with support for 44 W fast charging. This model is 7.5 mm thick and weighs 181 grams. The Vivo X70 Pro has a 4450mAh battery with 55W wired fast charging and 50W wireless power. The thickness and weight of the Vivo X70 Pro are 7.99 mm and 185 grams.

Finally, the Vivo X70 Pro + has a 4500mAh battery with 55W wired charging, 50W wireless power, and 10W wireless reverse power. The thickness and weight of the Vivo X70 Pro + are 8.89 mm and 209 grams.
