watchOS 8 will not work on these smartwatches

Apple recently unveiled its latest version of the Watch Series 7 at the California Streaming event, with a new smartwatch every year. The company also unveils the new version of its operating system, and this time Apple displays the watchOS 8 system that The company recently launched with iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.

The new watchOS 8 is available for download for Apple Watch users, but did you know that not all Apple Watches are compatible with the new Watch OS 8 operating system?

How to download watchOS 8?

Eligible Apple Watch users can download watchOS 8 by going to General > Software Update on the Watch app on your iPhone. You can also download the update from your Apple Watch if it's connected to a WiFi network by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

With the new watchOS 8, the Apple Watch will get many new features including a new Portrait Watch face, Memories in a Mosaic grid, an updated home, and the ability to share photos through Messages and Mail. The latest operating system also consists of the redesigned Breathe app.
