Apple Augmented reality headset will be released at the end of 2022 or already in 2023

Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will release its augmented reality headset later than originally planned. If earlier the company was going to start mass production in the second quarter of 2022, now the process will begin only in the fourth. Thus, the device itself will be released either at the very end of 2022 or already at the beginning of 2023.

The reason for the transfer is that at the time of the release of the device, Apple wants to have completely ready-made software, and an ecosystem, and services. That is, the company plans not only to launch a completely new product for itself but also to give users reasons to buy it. In particular, Apple will position its headset not only for games, but for this we need applications and services where people can use the device because it is convenient, and not because it’s something new.

The analyst believes that it is Apple that can once again change the market and make the AR / VR headset segment something full and in demand, as the company has already done with smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches.
