Apple fixed the iPhone 13 Pro camera issue

Apple has released iOS 15.1 beta 3 for developers with some new additions and fixes, the key ones being native ProRes support and a new toggle to disable automatic macro mode.

Most early reviewers and owners of the iPhone 13 Pro noted that the smartphone automatically switches to macro mode in the Camera app when a person approaches an object. The problem is that when switching to macro mode, there is no way for users to manually exit macro mode. The problem persists in both video mode and photo mode.

Apple has said it will release a fix that has already appeared in its developer beta. If users go to the Settings app and select Camera, they will see an Auto-Macro switch to switch from wide-angle to ultra-wide.

Disabling this switch allows you to manually enter and exit macro mode on iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max, as appropriate. The update should be available to all users soon.
