Apple officially announced today that it will be offering free AirPods to customers who purchase the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini during an India-exclusive promotion.
AirPods will be presented to all residents and visitors of India who buy any model of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini from October 7 to November 4, 2021. Apple did not specify what kind of headphones it is going to give users. It is not known if this is the first or second-generation AirPods, however, an advertising poster has confirmed that these are standard AirPods and not AirPods Pro.
The second-generation AirPods were introduced in 2019 with the Apple H1 SoC and improved connectivity. Apple AirPods second generation has 5 hours of talk time and 24 hours with the charging case. As it became known, the standard package of the iPhone 13 in France includes EarPods
