According to a source with reference to Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives, at today's event, Apple will present a new model of wireless headphones - AirPods 3. They will be similar to AirPods Pro, that is, they will receive a shorter leg.
However, the external resemblance to AirPods Pro does not at all mean the presence of an active noise cancellation system - it will still remain the prerogative of the Pro version. At the same time, the sound of the new AirPods will improve, and they can also get a more compact case. AirPods 3 are already in production and ready to go on sale, according to Wedbush Securities sources in the component supply chain.
Interestingly, despite the release of AirPods 3, the current generation model will remain on sale. This means that the release of the new AirPods 2 should be cheaper. As for AirPods 3, their cost can be $ 160 and $ 200.
