Budget long-liver Samsung Galaxy M22 arrived in Russia


Samsung Electronics introduced a new low-cost smartphone with a capacious battery - Galaxy M22 on the international market just a month ago. Now it starts to be sold in Russia.

The Russian representative office of Samsung has not yet held a solemn regional announcement, but the model has already appeared on the Russian Samsung website - with a full description, images, and price, but without the opportunity to buy. Svyaznoy did not wait for the announcement and has already started selling the smartphone, without any preliminary orders, with delivery today. 

Samsung Galaxy M22 is offered to Russian users for 18,990 rubles for a version with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, black and white body options are available. 

Samsung Galaxy M22 is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with HD + resolution (720x1600 pixels), a 13MP front camera, the main quadruple camera (48MP, 8MP, 2MP, and 2MP), a 5000 mAh battery with charging support with a power of 25 watts. True, such a charger is sold separately, and the kit comes with 15 watts.

The hardware base is the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal flash memory. Supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC, there is a USB Type-C, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a side fingerprint scanner. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 operating system with One UI proprietary shell. 

Unlike the rather similar model Galaxy A22 4G, the new product does not have optical image stabilization, the supported charging power is higher - 25 W instead of 15 W, and the battery life is announced for one hour more - up to 30 hours in video playback mode and up to 25 hours when using the internet.
