Huawei Nova 9 arrived in Russia

Huawei announced the imminent start of sales in Russia of a new smartphone Huawei Nova 9. The manufacturer positions the model as a smartphone with an "ultra camera". Russian users Huawei Nova 9 will be available for pre-order from November 8, 2021, at a suggested retail price of 39,999 rubles for a version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, in a black or blue case.

Those who pre-order before November 25, inclusive, will be given FreeBuds Pro wireless headphones, which will cost 14,990 rubles separately. Also, in the Huawei online store, you can get a coupon for an additional gift (Huawei Band 6 smart bracelet) and a chance to win the Huawei Nova 9 itself for a subscription.

Quadruple main camera combines a 50MP RYYB main sensor (f / 1.9 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module (f / 2.2 aperture), a 2MP macro module (f / 2.4 aperture) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor MP (f / 2.4 aperture). As noted by Huawei, the novelty is the first smartphone in the series to have an RYYB sensor with a matrix of color filters and XD Fusion Engine image enhancement technology. All this allows you to get high-quality photos and videos even in low light conditions.

The Huawei Nova 9 is equipped with a 6.57-inch Full HD + (2340 x 1080 pixels) OLED screen with rounded edges, 120Hz refresh rate, and embedded 32MP front camera, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.

The hardware base is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G SoC. The 4300mAh battery supports 66W fast charging. Wi-Fi (802.11 ac / ax), Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC are supported, there is a USB Type-C port, but there is no 3.5 mm audio jack. The dimensions are 160 x 73.7 x 7.77 mm, and the smartphone weighs 175 grams.

Unlike the Chinese version, the smartphone does not run on the proprietary HarmonyOS 2.0, but under the Android 11 operating system with the EMUI 12 shell without installed Google services and applications.
