Huawei on Oct 1 announced that it has filed an appeal against a Swedish court ruling in June. The ruling upheld a ban imposed a year ago on the sale of 5G equipment manufactured by a Chinese company in Sweden.
The telecoms giant said it has requested an oral hearing, but the Court of Appeal can decide whether to hold such a hearing or seek a preliminary ruling from the European Court of Justice. Earlier, Huawei said it would consider all options for responding to the ban, including filing an appeal.
