The CP040 is now available in the Concept Products section of the Icy Dock website, which allows you to convert a slim optical drive bay to a removable tray that holds an M.2 SSD.
The tray is compatible with M.2 M-Key 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 drives equipped with a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface. The U.2 (SFF-8639) interface is used to connect to the host, and the power is supplied via the SATA connector. The structure is made of metal. The kit includes a radiator and thermal interface. The status of the drive is indicated by the LED indicator. Product dimensions are 127.8 x 127 x 12.7 mm, weight - 183.5 g.
