LG Ergo 2nd Generation Monitors Introduced

LG Electronics has introduced the second generation of LG Ergo monitors. The lineup includes models LG Ergo Dual (27QP88D) and LG Ergo Single (32QP880), according to the manufacturer, they are "perfect for home or office."

The 27QP88D uses two 27-inch IPS panels, the 32QP880 uses one 31.5-inch IPS panel. The panel resolution in both cases is equal to QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels). Screens cover 99% of the sRGB color space. The brightness reaches 350 cd / m2. Monitors support HDR10 and AMD FreeSync. The response time is stated to be 5 ms.

The height and swivel adjustments have been improved over the first generation models introduced a year ago, making it easier to share the LG Ergo with other monitors and work while standing. The Ergo Dual has a height adjustment range of 150 mm and the Ergo Single 130 mm. Ergo Dual screens can be tilted from -30 ° to + 35 °, while Ergo Single screens can be tilted ± 25 °. Both monitors can be rotated ± 335 °. Twin monitors can be assigned portrait and landscape orientation independently of each other. The articulated standoffs securely attach without screws to desks up to 75mm thick, requiring very little desktop space. Another common feature is the ability to charge your laptop via USB-C. The LG Ergo Dual is capable of delivering up to 65W, the LG Ergo Single up to 96W.

The 27QP88D features one HDMI, one DisplayPort, one DisplayPort, and two USB 3.0 downstream ports. The 32QP880 features a second HDMI input and no DisplayPort output. This monitor is equipped with two 5W loudspeakers.

LG's next-generation Ergo monitors are slated to hit key markets around the world this month. The manufacturer does not name prices.
