Microsoft laptop: The company prepares a budget model for students

Microsoft is preparing to expand its range of Surface laptops. The novelty is now being created under the codename Tenjin and will represent the company's most budgetary PC.

This is an all-plastic laptop with a screen diagonal of 11.6 inches, a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, an Intel Celeron N4120 processor, and up to 8 GB of RAM.

Such simple characteristics are explained as simply as possible: this is a laptop focused on the educational segment, where Chromebooks now rule the ball. It is with them that the new product from Microsoft will have to compete. There have been such mobile PCs on the market for a long time, just earlier Microsoft itself did not climb into this segment.

Of the rest, it reports a full-sized keyboard, one USB port, one USB-C, and using Windows 11 SE. Presumably, the novelty can be named Surface Laptop SE.
