Xiaomi has begun preparations for the start of sales in Russia of new smartwatches and smartphones of its sponsored Redmi brand. This is evidenced by the records found in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Three mysterious models were found in the documentation - watches labeled M2112W1, as well as smartphones - 21121119SG and 22011119UY.
As usual, the ECE documentation does not provide details about the devices. Nevertheless, the receipt of certification indicates that the moment of the official announcement of the start of sales is approaching.
At the moment, Xiaomi officially sells two models of smartwatches - Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite for 5 thousand rubles and Xiaomi Mi Watch for 10 thousand rubles. Watches under the brand name Redmi have not yet been officially presented in Russia.
Note that the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite is very similar to the Redmi Watch that debuted in China at the end of 2020. However, there are differences - Redmi Watch supports NFC, and the Mi Watch Lite has a GPS / GLONASS receiver and a barometer, the number of physical activity modes has been increased from 7 to 11.
As for smartphones, so far we can only assume that these are models of the Redmi Note 10 series.
