Sales of the first Xiaomi tablet in three years started in Russia


Xiaomi has announced the start of open sales in Russia of the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet. The company's last tablet before that was the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, released in 2018. The international presentation of the Xiaomi Pad 5 took place on September 15, and the older model, the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro, is also offered in China. Both in Europe and in China, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is a real hit. 

Russian users Xiaomi Pad 5 is available in white and gray color options at a suggested retail price of 36,990 rubles for the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory. The first customers are given as a gift Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic, which will separately cost 2,990 rubles. 

Xiaomi Pad 5 received an IPS screen with a diagonal of 11 inches, a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, SoC Snapdragon 860, cameras with a resolution of 8 and 13 megapixels, four speakers, an 8720 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging.

The tablet runs MIUI for Pad based on Android 11. It supports the Smart Pen from Xiaomi, which is fixed with magnets and can be charged directly from the tablet wirelessly. The stylus is not included in the package.
